Privacy
Pebble is a personal voice assistant that runs on its owner's own computer. This notice explains what Pebble reads, where it keeps it, and how to disconnect it. It covers Pebble's use of YouTube data in particular.
Where your data lives
Pebble runs on a computer its owner keeps at home. What it reads and stores stays on that computer. There is no Pebble cloud service, and Pebble does not sell, rent or share your data, or use it for advertising.
YouTube data
Pebble uses YouTube API Services. With the channel owner's permission, given once through Google's own sign-in, Pebble reads a channel's figures through YouTube's read-only access. That covers figures such as views, watch time, subscribers and recent uploads. Pebble cannot upload, change or delete anything on YouTube.
- What it is used for: answering the owner's questions about the channel, and short summaries for the owner.
- Who sees it: the owner, and the channel's owner when the owner chooses to share a summary with them. No one else.
- Where it is kept: on the owner's computer. The sign-in permission is kept in that computer's protected storage.
- How long: until the channel is disconnected. Disconnecting deletes the stored figures.
By using Pebble's YouTube features you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
How to disconnect
You can withdraw Pebble's access at any time on your Google Account's Third-party apps and services page. Pebble then stops reading the channel. Its stored figures are deleted when the owner disconnects the channel in Pebble.
